Our Story
The People Behind Buds
SAME COMMUNITY. A BRIGHTER TOMORROW.
Megan Turpin
Co-owner of Buds Cannabis, Megan has lived on the Saanich Peninsula since 2018 and is the proud mom of three boys.
Before opening Buds, Megan worked as a care aide, supporting local families and seniors. As a lifelong cannabis enthusiast, opening a legal cannabis retail store near Victoria, BC felt like a natural next step.
I love being part of this community and getting to know everyone. Supporting local events and hiring locally are huge priorities for us.
Dustin Ereiser
Co-owner Dustin also moved to the Peninsula in 2018 and is a proud father of one.
With a background in landscaping and vape retail, Dustin brings hands-on knowledge of how plants grow and how to enjoy them responsibly.
“We take pride in understanding cannabis from the ground up — literally. From cultivation to customer service, it’s all about knowledge, respect, and quality.”
People First. Always.
We’re proud to be a local team. Our Buds Cannabis staff live in the communities we serve and are proud to be part of the local community.
We believe in taking care of our people by offering benefits, opportunities to grow, and a supportive workplace where people can build a career. Many of our team members have been with us for years, and we’re proud of the team we’ve built.
Most importantly, we’re here to take care of you. Our team is friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to help. Whether you’re new to cannabis or know exactly what you’re looking for, we’ll help you find something that’s right for you.
