Raised in the mountains of Nelson, BC, the founders ventured out into the world before returning home to build something truly special — a company rooted in the values of their community and the culture of Canadian cannabis (Woody Nelson, 2025).
Their 26,000 sq. ft. facility is where cultivation, processing, and distribution come together under one roof. Woody Nelson also collaborates with talented, licensed micro-producers like Kootenay Quantum, Koots Canna, JR Strain, Magi, Sweetgrass, and Coast Mountain Cannabis, helping bring small-batch craft cannabis to the recreational market (Woody Nelson, 2025).
Their direct delivery program launched just in time for retailers to effectively combat the effects of the BCGEU job action — specifically the halt of centralized distribution. We are forever grateful for their team’s adaptability and dedication to their retail partners. Their direct delivery kept us stocked up with your favourites and even brought in some dank new drops during the strike!
Their Vancouver Island representative may be one of our favourite faces to hit the scene- Mallory Long. She joined their team earlier this year, and continues to impress us with her knowledge and passion for the plant. Some of you may have met her at the Sidney Market this summer when she joined Buds Cannabis at our education booth. She really brought her A-Game and created the best visual display of the market season.
